Rachel is a PhD student in MechE working in the Mechanical Circulatory Support Group. She pursued her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in bioengineering at Lehigh University. Prior to joining the Edelman Lab, Rachel completed research internships involving the design of mechanical systems for drug delivery applications. Outside of the lab, Rachel enjoys playing volleyball for the MIT Women’s Volleyball Club, cooking, crocheting, and spending time outdoors!
