Mert is a visiting student carrying out his Master’s thesis at the Edelman Lab. He is interested in computer vision, geometric deep learning and the applications of data science and machine learning methods in developing medical technology. In particular, for his thesis, he is working on leveraging recent advancements in geometric deep learning to develop efficient surrogate models for coronary artery stenting simulations.
