Felix Mahfoud

Felix Mahfoud is professor of medicine and deputy director of the Department for Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Saarland University Hospital. Professor Mahfoud holds board certifications in internal medicine, cardiology, intensive care medicine, emergency medicine, and hypertension. He has authored more than 440 articles in peer reviewed journals and was writing committee member of the 2019 ESC Guidelines for the diagnosis and management of chronic coronary syndromes, the 2018 ESC/ESH Guidelines for the management of arterial hypertension, and the 2023 ESH Guidelines for the management of arterial hypertension.
