Ahmed is a Mechanical Engineering PhD student in the Edelman Lab. His current research focuses on utilizing nanobiomaterials for biosensing and bioimaging of implant-related complications. He previously worked on developing contact lens and hydrogel nanocomposites for ocular and point-of-care diagnostics. In his spare time, Ahmed enjoys hitting the gym, playing football (soccer), and watching MMA.
