Efrat Goffer

Efi is a Postdoctoral associate in the lab in the Mechanical Circulatory Support group. She recently graduated from the Harvard-MIT Health Science and Technology program in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics. Her work aims to optimize the interactions of mechanical support devices with the heart and the vasculature, specifically through better understanding of the hybrid hemodynamics they create. Prior to joining the lab Efi was a helicopter pilot instructor in the Israeli Airforce, and then completed her BS in Mechanical Engineering in Tel Aviv University. Efi enjoys pottery, cooking, snowboarding, and doing fun experiments with her 5 year old daughter.
