Efi grew up in Israel and served for 3 years as flight instructor in the Israeli Air Force. Graduated from Tel Aviv University in Mechanical Engineering. Worked for 2 years in a Bio-Medical startup in Tel Aviv. Her research is currently focused on the interactions between Mechanical Circulatory Support Devices and the Cardiovascular system.
When not in lab, Efi enjoys traveling, working out and cooking.
