Postdoc
Mathematical modeling, Fluid mechanics
Jess is a Postdoctoral Associate studying the intricate relationships between aorta geometry, hemodynamics, and aortic disease. She has a background in applied mathematics and fluid mechanics, having received her Ph.D. from the University of Oxford in the UK in 2019, where she focused on developing mathematical models of fluid flows during kidney stone removal to understand and optimize ureteroscopic procedures. Jess is working in collaboration with both the Edelman Lab and the Gleason Lab at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH).
