Postdoctoral Associate
Coronary Artery Biomechanics - Modeling & Imaging
E25-446

Max was a postdoctoral associate researching the biomechanics of diseased coronary arteries to better understand the coupling between vascular structure and mechanical state. He received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering and his MS degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. Previous research projects focused on sensory regenerative peripheral nerve interfaces for intuitive control and feedback from prosthetic devices, and modeling of the pelvic floor for educational and surgical planning applications. Outside of the lab, Max enjoys outdoor activities and athletics- hiking, skiing, biking, and running, to name a few.
