Rachel attended Lehigh University for her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Bioengineering. As an undergraduate, she also minored in Mechanics of Materials and Applied Mathematics. Rachel's prior research experience involved optimizing the mechanical properties and drug release properties of a gastric retentive drug delivery device. Outside of the lab, Rachel enjoys staying active through the MIT Volleyball Club, cooking, and spending time outdoors!
